D Evolution of a Personal Identity

5/1/2017

A personal identity in art is meant to showcase people's personal traits, tools and assets. We as individuals have different taste, looks and feelings towards others artistic designs. It's an issue of philosophy we artist must figure out with our creativity and knowledge. This is where the creative process starts.

As an artist I like to look at myself as "different". My definition of different is taking the next step towards unique. It's a lesson I found to be a tad bit difficult but in this world challenges come around. I'm willing to
take the challenges and learn through my steps to succeed.

It took me nearly 6 years to find a personal identity because I didn't want to create just a cool logo, I wanted to create a logo that would mean something. A logo that would describe my characteras a graphic designer. The understanding of a personal identity
logo is
meant to showcase the meaning of creativity and technique through passion with
that I was able to
successfully
find my personal identity.

For upcoming artists have fun creating your personal identities. Make it always about you
because you know yourself better than anyone else. Stay positive and creative.

Without any further ado I present to you 'D' Evolution of The Creative Artista personal identity.

Where do you start is the question? Well anywhere to be exact. I started designing when I was about 3 years
old drawing
in my parent’s living room walls. Ever since that day I knew I wanted to be some kind of artist growing up.

Designing is an important part of history dating back to cave paintings, writing, books, maps and calligraphy. It expresses on what we see in our heads, which we can create visually for people to see around the world.

As an artist it’s always nice to think outside the box. Personally I like to be in my own comfort zone when I get things started. Being in a good state of mind brings the creativity out of anybody when it comes to designing and creating art.

When getting your ideas started always remember to start from scratch. For example if your looking to build and design a really awesome website draw out your template. Grab a piece of paper, notepad, or sketchpad and sketch up your concepts. No matter what level you’re in everyone starts from this process. Building and creating ideas helps the designer get a good sense on what your project should look like before designing it on the computer. Also another key thing to do is research. From the internet to the library you can find great resources of materials and things that will help you get started in your journey to become a great designer / artist.

One last important thing about being a designer is finding your identity. Basically it means what kind of designer are you? For example I like to describe myself as a hard nose hitting passionate creative beast meaning I’m a dedicated and motivated artist that simply loves to design. Generating energy in your design describes your personality within the style you
create. It’s something everybody will remember you by.

Overall designing is just a huge process of planning, visualizing and creating. You’ll come across roadblocks during this time of process but remember to always be patient and positive. Once things start going keep the engine running because sooner or later you’ll find your way to success.
